About Driver Rehabilitation

“”

Overview

The ability to drive enhances a person’s overall independence. When aging, injury, or a medical condition is compromised, it can impede safe operation of a motor vehicle. Accomplishing everyday tasks becomes a challenge for someone who cannot drive.

For persons with physical, visual, cognitive, or behavioral impairments, the ability to regain driving skills or learn to drive for the first time is valuable to leading an independent lifestyle.
